Brief Update

Hi friends,

I just wanted to write up a brief update for you guys on this blog and what’s going on in my life.

Things in my life have gotten both busy and fairly complicated. Which is not unusual for me and probably not unusual for you, either. However, I’ve decided that I should probably adjust my monthly targets to one or two posts.

For those who have generously followed me thus far, you may have noticed I haven’t posted a “Last Month” yet for June. I sincerely apologize about this. Sadly, I probably won’t get to it this month.

Without getting into the specifics (you probably don’t find my personal story too interesting anyways), I’m in a bit of a pit emotionally and spiritually right now with few answers presenting themselves to me. For that reason, I think I need to spend some time introspecting, reading, seeking counsel from others, and digging deep into scripture, something I’m embarrassed to admit I haven’t done in a while. It doesn’t feel right that I write here on a bi-weekly basis when I’m not supplying my own emotional and spiritual needs (or rather, seeking strength from my one true Source). It’s like trying to fill a cup from a dry well. I’m sure many of you will understand. Hopefully, anyways.

That being said, I’ll probably still be semi-active on Twitter and, again, I’ll try to write a post this month. To tide you over, though I know this might seem like a cheap substitute, here’s a couple videos I found quite interesting (if you end up watching, let me know what you think!). One is a Jordan Peterson dialogue on God stuff and the other is a debate on indulgences/Roman Catholicism between James White and Peter D. Williams.

I hope this post doesn’t come as a disappointment. I want to write more and I hope to do so. However, right now, personally, I feel that I need to reorganize and, in some ways, get better.
